Apex Legends eDPI Calculator — Effective DPI and cm/360
Apex rewards tracking more than flicking, so players often run a slightly lower cm/360 than in tactical shooters. This page converts your Apex settings into eDPI and cm/360, and across to other games.
Part of the eDPI Calculator.
Quick answer: eDPI = DPI × mouse sensitivity, and cm/360 = 360 ÷ (sensitivity × DPI × 0.022). Tracking-focused players commonly settle between 25 cm and 40 cm per 360°, which at 800 DPI is roughly sensitivity 1.1 to 1.8.
Typical: 0.1–10
ADS and scope sensitivities are separate settings in game; this conversion is for hip-fire.
| Game | Yaw (deg/count) | Sensitivity for the same cm/360 | Confidence |

| Valorant | 0.07 | 0.4714 | high |
| Apex Legends | 0.022 | 1.5000 | high |
| Overwatch 2 | 0.0066 | 5.0000 | high |

| Typical range | Apex players usually run 800–1600 eDPI; 800 DPI × 1.0–2.0 covers most of the ranked population. |
| Caveat | ADS and scope sensitivities are separate settings in game; this conversion is for hip-fire. |
How the Apex Legends numbers are calculated
Aim-down-sights has its own sensitivity multiplier in Apex, so convert your hip-fire value and then tune ADS in game.
Keeping the same feel when you change DPI
Your cm/360 only changes if DPI × sensitivity changes. If you raise DPI from 400 to 800, halve the in-game sensitivity and your turning distance stays identical — the calculator will show the same cm/360 for both setups, which is the quickest way to confirm you have compensated correctly.
When to use this test
- Copying a Apex Legends sensitivity from a video or a friend's setup into your own mouse settings
- Comparing your Apex Legends setup with players who report DPI only, or eDPI only
- Moving to Apex Legends from another shooter without losing your turn distance
- Checking whether your sensitivity sits inside the range most Apex Legends players use
